Sensei Zanda Hoffmann is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and lifelong martial artist with over 15 years of training and teaching experience. His approach to instruction is grounded in discipline, technical precision, and a deep respect for the journey of every student.

Sensei Zanda Hoffmann is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and lifelong martial artist with over 15 years of dedicated training, teaching, and competition experience. He is the Head Instructor at Pacheco Jiu-Jitsu Avalon, where he leads classes for students of all ages and experience levels.

Zanda began his martial arts journey studying Kaisei Ryu Ju Jitsu under Sensei Paul Jones and Sensei Michelle Hall, earning his Shodan (1st Dan) in 2014 and Nidan (2nd Dan) in 2018. Alongside this, he commenced training in Pacheco Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Diogenes Da Silva in 2009, achieving his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt in 2019.

To complement his Jiu-Jitsu, Zanda has also trained in boxing, Filipino martial arts, and Muay Thai, developing a well-rounded and practical approach to self-defence and movement. He has competed in numerous Jiu-Jitsu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, including the World Masters Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Las Vegas.

Instructing since 2015, Sensei Zanda is known for his disciplined, methodical teaching style and his commitment to helping students build confidence, resilience, and technical precision. His approach is grounded in respect for the art, consistent improvement, and supporting each student on their individual journey.
